Event Schedule: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - Listen to Boise Rock School student band performances in the JUMP Lobby, the amphitheater, and near the Celebration Circle. Since its inception in 2008, Boise Rock School has been led by the belief that the best way to get individuals excited about learning music is to have them play in a group. They believe the band setting, coupled with a strong curriculum and student-chosen songs, achieves better results than any other teaching method. 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - Stop in at the Story Tent any time during the day. Books will be available to read and at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. librarians will do storytimes! 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. - We're excited to welcome back the Starbelly Dancers and the Starbelly Student Troupe for a performance at the amphitheater. The Starbelly Dancers are a nationally recognized belly dance company from Boise, Idaho, under the artistic direction of Cecilia Rinn. They specialize in traditional, modern, fusion, and theatrical belly dance and have performed at events such as Boise Music Week, Treefort Music Festival, and even on Telemundo. 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Nritya Kalashetra Company is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the classical Indian dance form of Odissi in the Treasure Valley through performances, cultural programs, and community collaborations. For their performance in the amphitheater, Nritya Kalashetra Company will bring the Nritya Kalashetra Dance School to the valley, where students and teachers share the grace, storytelling, and rich traditions of Odissi with local audiences. Together, the organization and school create opportunities for cultural connection through both education and performance. 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m. - Do you love puzzles, the unexpected, and EXPLOSIONS?!? Then visit the amphitheater for Dr. Picklestein’s Traveling STEM Show! Dr. Picklestein’s mind-blowing experiments and laugh-out-loud science demos make STEM exciting for kids (and adults) of all ages. Food: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - Come get your snack on with food & drinks sold by food trucks – Benny’s Chick N Spuds, Alchemist Beverage Truck, Hip Pop Hooray Popcorn, and the Sugar Wagon.
